Since when Reflections Yoga Center first opened its doors, we have shared the love of the yoga practice with the local community.
It has been a journey of more than 10 years of spreading the practice and knowledge of yoga to others. Like everything in the universe, it has a beginning and an end except God; the end to Reflections is not an exception to that. As with any business there are always challenges. Throughout college, she fell in love with meditative movement and the peace it brought her despite her daily stresses. As a teacher, she wants to create a space of vulnerability and plenty of room to get stronger and grow. She loves helping her students delve deeper into the mental and physical practice of yoga.
Her focus is on meditative movement and truly finding a link between the mind, body, and spirit through breath work. As the Yoga and Fitness Coordinator, she hopes to create a place where this community can be brought together by the love of not just fitness, but wellness. She wants to maintain a space where people can slow down, take a few breaths, and work on cultivating their best self. Liezle discovered yoga after she was recovering from the birth of her 2nd child and a wish to lead a more active lifestyle.
While her goal was an interest in overall fitness, she found that her true passion was yoga. The training opened a whole new world of health, fitness, yoga styles, meditation and spirituality. She attends workshops and continues teaching and training to build on her knowledge of body and mind practice. Over the years, she has taught at various locations in the area. Mary has been passionate about fitness for the past 12 years. Seven years ago, she became a group fitness trainer, specializing in HIIT boot camp.
This past May, she completed her RYT certification as well as her yoga sculpt certification. Yoga has completely transformed her life — physically, mentally and spiritually. Her gratitude for fitness and yoga shines when she shares this way of life with others. Sharon started Zumba eight years ago.
